Miss big blue eyes, her big brother and I are looking forward to a week of Fall break next week! First though big brother is going to put on his judo clothes and do battle with some other enthusiasts tomorrow. He's so looking forward to it.
I expect I will be clicking away on my needles with this project during the break, because, well, it is cold outside and I needed a hat yesterday! I am once again using the alpaca and wool yarn from Berrocco that I have left over from mitten making.
What a precious girl! That is so funny, my brother also did Judo. Unfortunately, I was often on the receiving end of his practicing! Ouch!

I just went and bought yarn for a hat for myself and mittens for the boys. We are going to need them soon, probably before I have them finished. Oh well. Enjoy your knitting.

I love that Alpaca & wool yarn from Berrocco. I made a shawl out of it that keeps me toasty no matter what the weather throws at me.
I say that you quit knitting and start building a fortress around your house- you are going to need it when Miss Big Blue Eyes becomes a teenager. Emily, I will pray for you. Carolina
