I love Wednesdays. My little chickie is home with me all day.
She is so often running and giggling, so somehow it is easier to catch her on the camera when she is engrossed in something. Here she was helping me make our afternoon snack.
As usual she is barefoot and today she is wearing the new pants which I made her. They seem to be a favorite already. I really love the William Morris fabric. The previous pairs I made for her with the same Onion pattern she complained that the waist wasn't so comfortable. I had used 1" elastic. For these I used 1/4" elastic that is much slacker. She likes them comfy.
My little girl (6) is also barefoot most of the time. I'm always complaining about but she can't stay with the slippers on for a long time!!!
Your Lilly is more beautiful each day and I also like the trousers. They seem very comfy.

She's such a doll! And she really is right about being comfy--it's the best way to enjoy life. The William Morris pants are wonderful. I'm glad they are a favorite already.

What wonderful pants, and comfort is the name of the game ...
I love that light sprinkling of freckles across her nose!
Hugs to you all

Those freckles are adorable! So are her flower pants:) My little girl is barefoot most of the time. I've read it helps them learn to use their feet properly.

LOVE the fabric on the pants, and I can definitely see where the elastic would feel better for her being 1/4".
As far as the post is concerned, don't think for a minute that I didn't notice the pink of the flower in the introductory photo ... it matches your daughter's shirt and the innocence of her youth perfectly. Truly lovely. Carolina

What a cutie, indeed! And I love the pants. Perhaps I'll look into making myself a pair in similar fabric for those early fall days soon to arrive...

You're little chickie is PRESCIOUS! Those sweet little cheeks and perfect skin...makes me yearn for the days my girls were little. (sigh) One will be a senior in high school and one is just starting high school. But they are still sweet and adorable!

What lovely photos...I think I've made the same Onion pants for my twin girls. They're getting short and I must make more.
