My little one has a new top.
I used an old top that had gotten snug and short. I just chopped it off right under the arms.
I gathered the thrifted plaid fabric and sewed it to the bodice.
I cut up the left over lower piece of the top to make the flowers and decorations.
The extra prettiness is actually a nice cover up for the stains on the top.
This felt good, finding a way to use an old top. Not only recyclying but also UP-cycling. She just loves it.
She's off to the woods to pick more wildflowers. I wish you a lovely weekend!
What an adorable little girl! My 'little girl' is now 34 and its hard to believe the years have gone so quickly! Enjoy every moment!

Your princess has one of the prettiest smiles I have seen. She looks adorable in her new top. What a good idea to reuse the top part of the top and turn it into a frock. It seem the same technique could be used to make a dress. Nice.

What an adorable little dress for an equally adorable little girl! I love the act that the frock is recycled too... I remember my mum recycling her dresses to make little outfits for my sister and I as we were growing up.. :D
