This upcoming weekend is the start to the flea market season in Norway. Here you can check out where the upcoming flea markets are in Norway.
I made this sweater many years ago when I first came to Norway. At that time this lusekofte was very popular. I actually made a couple of them for myself then. I really should make one for each of the children. Unfortunately though, they have taken such a liking to fleece and aren't too keen on wool. Another dear member of the family has requested knitted items for Christmas, preferably in cashmere. No, wool would be too unpleasant. I am one of the few remaining who likes wool, although cashmere is lovely...
One does need to dress warmly here in these icy parts of the world. I was hoping to entice someone into a swap, ice, snow and cold for a bit of spring?
Any takers?
Oh you would love it here right now its in the 60's but they said that more cold and snow is coming our way!
I sure wished we had flea markets here!

I'd love to share some sunshine and warm weather. But no trading. I couldn't take the cold and ice. Have a wonderful day despite the slow arrival of spring.

Sorry, no, I can't trade out any warmth as I NEED it! However, you can look beautiful longer in your pretty knit woolens. No chance of ever wearing wool well here in SC. Wish I could go flea marketing with you! -- michele

Nope, sorry Emily, no trading today ... LOL We are just starting to warm up, so I need it all.
WOW, no one is willing to trade right now! Just wait until it gets so blazing hot here, then everyone will want to give you their 100+ warmth!
Enjoy your lovely sweater.

My dear husband would be more than happy to take you up on some of your snow!!! I guess we would have to take the ice too! He feels like winter comes and goes wayyyy too fast!
We are having temps in the 50's this past week or so. A little cooler in the shade... but nothing at all compared to what you are going through! I remember wool as a little girl... skirts etc... now everyone who wears wool wears a layer or so of nice soft cotton close to the skin. The sweater is lovely... Enjoy your flea marketing...

I love cashmere and live in cashmere jumpers :)
It's so warm and last forever...
Happy fleamarketing and it looked so cold in Norway, it's nice and nearly Spring here in England!

Brrr. That looks cold. We have had our first sunny day in ages so I'm afraid I'm too selfish to swap it.

That's going to be a pretty hard sell. Are you going to throw in any great flea market finds with that offer? Even then, I don't know :)

My dear father-in-law is famous for saying "cotton kills" in reference to dressing in layers for outside. Wool saves lives! I'd trade you a little sun for a little snow- it just feels strange to have sun and warm weather (50F) here.

Oh my goodness! There is so much snow in your neck of the woods! Good thing you know how to knit warm sweaters for you and other family members. :)
I love flea market season. I think flea markets start back up here at the beginning of April. Can't wait!
