Thought you might enjoy browsing in the paper section of Norway Designs with me?
It is located in the basement so forgive me that the lighting for these photos isn't the best.
Wall to wall eye-candy!
Aren't those bunnies great?
I rather liked these owls.
I enjoy looking at the patterns, but prefer fabrics. I guess with fabric, I just love to feel the different textures and dream about what to make with it.
The paper shop has at least 3 giant paper cutters so you can custom make your own cards, invitations, etc. Just watch those fingers!
After all this brightness you might like a little walk outdoors for some fresh air?
Here are one of the grand lions guarding Stortinget, Norway's parliament.
There is no more snow underfoot in the city, but just outside of Oslo the ground is still fairly well covered. The melt is on though and we are now happy in the certainty that spring is arriving!
I took this on a walk near our home last week. My children will be off from school and nursery school for Easter vacation until the following Tuesday when they return. My husband will have Thursday, Friday and Monday off. It is going to be lovely!
I have restocked my little Etsy shop with a few new goodies, like these wool felt birdie ornaments.
Fru Alvheim (Sorry, she is no longer available) is my latest matryoshka and I have a few others ready to sew together and plump up when I get a spare minute.
Wishing you a most enjoyable week! I hope to be by with some photos of my latest projects. (I have gotten a start on my daughter's summer wardrobe!)
I know how you feel about getting excited over paper and material! These are beauties!

My problem when faced with a wall of lovely patterns like that (whether paper or fabric) is always choosing a favourite to buy! I'm quite sure I have a photo of myself in front of the lion you showed above when I was in Oslo!

Hello.
Such wonderful colours in the papers and your fabrics.x

I do love paper almost as much as fabric. I end up buying too many pieces when I'm in a scrapbooking or stationery shop. Thanks for the little walk around your square. So pretty! Hope you have a nice Easter week. Our spring break begins right before Easter, so we are looking forward to a slower pace next week, too. -- michele

I agree about paper...so hard not to leave the shop with lots of amazing paper, but I have to stick with fabric : )
