I finished the my very first pair of gloves! They weren't really so hard. Knitting fingers are really just like knitting the thumbs, there are just lots of them.
The photo above shows the color pretty accurately while the other photos didn't really capture it. Lilly's fingers were looking a little chilled here, as I helped her jump down off the rock wall she had been balancing on. She mostly likes going mittenless though.
For these gloves I used Berroco Ulta Alpaca Fine, Redwood Mix color.
The pattern was from Vogue Knitting the fall 2009 issue. Here is the magazine with the pattern. This issue as well as other back order issues are available on the VK site.

Lovely gloves - I've just ordered some of that same yarn in the worsted weight to make the Novak sweater from Twist collective, I can't wait for it to get here!

The gloves are so nice! That red is stylin', too. They would definitely go with my Ritzy Red lipstick that I always wear!

They look sublime.... I love red gloves in wool, leather, suede or anything. I think they just generate heat when you look at them.
