Thank you to everyone for your get-will wishes!
Here is a very happy girl off to nursery school again! She is sporting her new hat and mittens that I knit up for her this past summer, also made with Borocca's wool and alpaca yarn. They are thick and warm and will hopefully ward off new illnesses.
Both children are still suffering a bit from a coughs and stuffy noses, but are in fine spirits and have resumed daily life. Why does my throat have to be getting more scratchy? I will crawl into bed with a good book and turn off the light early.
Oh boy does she look a lot happier! I love her hat and mittens, you do such wonderful knit work - your sewing isn't bad either ... LOL
You take care of yourself, don't you go getting sick!

Your girl looks just beautiful EMily - full of cheeky smiles and charisma! What a wonderful set of photos. I'm so glad your little ones are on the mend but I do hope your throat doesn't develop into something nasty x

What a beautiful little girl! You just want to reach out and squeeze those little red cheeks - very gently, of course! Love the knitted items, too - very cozy!

The hat and mittens look really cute! Love the color. She looks perfectly content!
Salt water gargel... and my folks were advised to also use some of the salt water and a cu-tip and wash the inside of your nose with it... each day! This helps ward off the germs that cause all sorts of hate and discontent! Feel better.... and get out the lysal!

Oops... just noticed how badly I spelled so many words... guess you will have to get out
a dictionary just to figure out what I've said! Thanks for your comments on my blog!
Again, feel better soon!

Hello Patty,
How very sweet you are!!! Thank you so very much for stopping by my blog and taking the time to write me such a nice comment! We are unfortunately still trying to recover from our cols/flu. (No one knows.) My little one luckily doest have any more fever but is still keeping herself and me up at night with her coughing. I feel like I have gotten nothing done this week, but well, I guess I have done a lot of caretaking and soothing.
I wish you a happy weekend!
Warmest wishes from Emily

sweet photo! Why does it seem that whatever illnesses the kids bring home, the parents seem to get a worse case of it!?
