Lilly and her friends are already into Do It Yourself. Yes, her little friend who is actually starting 2nd grade tomorrow decided Lilly's bangs needed a trim.
It turned out kinda cute! This touristy photo was acatually taken by my dear brother while he was visiting and he took Lilly off for an outing just the two of them.
I made this drawstring bag as a custom order for a very sweet buyer in my shop.
I liked how these appliqué flowers looked decorting the bag.
Here's the mama and baby she ordered to go with the bag. Custom orders are fun yet challenging. I want to make sure I interpret the customer's wishes just right.
Hoping your week is staring off well. My little one and I are heading downtown this morning to do some fabric shopping for another custom order! The sun is shining brightly and I expect we will have a delightful time.
The custom made bag and doll are beautiful... and Lily looks as cute as ever!

She looks so cute! My daughter decided to cut her own bangs when she was about the same age.
The doll and bag turned out so cute. Have a fun day I hope you find lots of fabric.

Young girls have such independent style, don't they? Sometimes they just can't wait to try out their ideas ....good thing we can shrug and smile! Besides, it just adds to Lilly's cuteness. Love the bag and doll, too.

Her bangs definitely look better than when I tried to cut my own sometime. Can you send her little friend over to do mine?

I just love Lilly's bangs, so runway!! I too had a friend cut my bangs (Clear up to the scalp) and I cut off her pigtails in 1st grade while napping!!! Our parents had to come to the school for a meeting and everything!!! We were so happy with our new look!!
Just found your blog and can't wait to read more!!

Argh at the haircut, you are remarkably calm about it! I did my own hair at 3 years old and my mother has the photos to prove it (sigh ...)
I love the custom order - I agree, they are challenging and nerve-wracking but oh-so-great when they work out well!

No wonder you like the way those flowers look on the bag. They are very lovely! And the whole bag too of course. :-)
