There is still time to enter my Crafty Give Away!
I made this drawstring bag as a custom order recently. I enjoy working together with people and trying my best to make what they are dreaming of. I love how it turned out and would like to make more with pinks and peaches.
I made a few dolls with some peachy pink colors from some lovely Lakehouse Drygoods fabrics called Teatime Florals by Holly Holderman. The first time I set eyes on these fabrics I knew I needed to have them. Her fabrics usually make me feel that way!
Fru Nielsen is already sold.
Fru Eide is just listed and still available. I really shouldn't have looked at the Lakehouse page, now I want more of these fabrics in the blues and beiges. I am trying to be so good. I think it is over a month since my last fabric purchase.
So far this post has been rather subdue, but the peachy pink flowers in my backyard are anything but...
This is the BEFORE shot last week of my lupins that I planted by seed last summer. One week of near 24 hours of daily sunlight does a lot for a plant!
AFTER!I love this time of year when it is light day and night! Everyone is out, we are enjoying the wading pool in our yard, just soaking in the sunshine, and loving every minute of it. Please don't mention the W word. We know it is coming soon enough. Right now everything is peachy keen!
I love that AFTER! picture.

I am so curious to see what color my lupin will be. I threw a big load of seeds in the garden when we got here. Purple I think.
Those fabrics are too good to be true, you should not have shown them!

ooh, I like your new dolls, they are more beautiful then ever, also the pictures are so well done, maybe that's the reason why you sell a lot the last few weeks, the fabrics you use now are really beautiful!
I wish I had more time to plant in my garden, I like these old fashioned lupins a lot, they remind me of my grandma's garden!

I have loved lupines ever since I first read Barbara Cooney's book, Miss Rumphius. I do have some out I my garden but thus far only in shades of purple. Yours are lovely and a similar variety has now moved up on my "must have" list!

Everything in the post looks delicious! I love the lupin and the new dolls and I agree, beautiful light nights, there is nothing better (as long as it's sunny of course!)

Gorgeous peachy dolls, and love that lupin! I could do with a full week of sunshine too!

Oh, I love those pictures of lupin. I started some from seeds earlier this spring and have just planted them outside. They are so tiny, I don't expect them to make much flowers this year, but yours are beautiful. And your dolls are gorgeous, as usual, love the fabric!

Your pictures are so pretty! Your learning... how are the kids doing with their picture taking? Also, I really like the private order for the bag... the (are they French knots?) make it look sharp!
