This pretty butterfly decorated hankie is from the hankie "Swap-CHOO" I joined a few weeks ago, hosted by Iris. Thank you so much Vanessa! I can't show you the one I sent to Vanessa yet, as it is still on its way and I don't want to ruin the surprise.
The hems she has hand rolled and hand stitched. Doesn't that make the edges sweet? Iris provided a great link from Purl Bee for a tutorial on how to make a hankie. It isn't so hard, just a bit of fiddling at the beginning and a bit more time than you might expect and it is done.
I made this wee baby the other day on a custom order for mama and baby in a sling.
Psst!
If you would like to join a give away for one or maybe even two of my dolls just follow this link .
I hope you are having a great weekend. We all went thrifting today and it was heap of fun. We hauled back as much as we could carry in our hands, on our backs and stuff into little one's stroller. I will try to have photos soon. I hope you are enjoying the weekend.
such a pretty hankie!!

Thrifting sounds so good! I hope to find some time for it tomorrow, it has been too long since the last time.

Not only is the hankie sweet... the ribbon it was tied in is wonderful! So... is it long enough to do something with for Lilly?
Hope your Sunday is great... Spring is here! Yeahhhh Team!!!! The flowers are out and well, I'm just going to appreciate it while I can... it will jump into Summer b/4 we know it!
Enjoy your thrifting...

Yay! Your hankie is lovely! And wrapped so nicely. I can't wait to see what you sent off to Vanessa. It was so fun to do the swap and think of the others who were participating. I am making a couple of hankies for my mom for a birthday present (right around Mother's Day!). They are so fun and quick!
I was having trouble actually using my hankie for what it is intended for, but kept it in my purse thinking that probably necessity would dictate its first use. Sure enough, I was driving last week, and a sneeze came (swap--CHOO!) and the hankie was christened!
XO
Iris
