We are really getting ready to enjoy the spring!
My husband bought a new bike for himself at the flea market and everyone helped with washing it.
The only down side it spring is the pollen. My son is so allergic and with the high pollen count yesterday he was in tears at one point about his swollen and painful eyes, despite the allergi medicine. So my hankie from Vanessa is coming in handy, and my swap-CHOO hankie has now arrived safe and sound with Vanessa. Here is the one I made and sent to Vanessa.
I wasn't able to resist adding a little heart.
It took longer than you might expect to get around all 12.5 inches by 12.5 with all that rolling and stitching, but the work was pleasant.
With all the extra light I am able to sleep less and play more! I have been working on some little wee babies. Happy days are here...
My friend Katie is having a give away. You really should see the beautiful quilts she makes.
Looks like a really good bike to find at the flea market! So pleased Spring has arrived for you. xx

My bicycle could use a good cleaning session too. It¨'s all gross from always being outside!
And I feel your son on the pollen...I am allergic too, and my eyes are driving me crazy!

Aw! Look at all of you washing the bike. When I was in Europe I was amazed with the number of people who used biking as their form of commuting. So great for the environment and for health too! Looks like you have some wonderful projects on the go!

What fun washing the bikes and taking them out for a ride.
I have been riding by bike as my daughter runs her heart out training for track racing at her high school...
I have the allergy thing too! So much Alavert D and sinus spray at my house right now!
But I can't stay way from my garden..and I keep bringing the flowers inside to make bouquets...
Oh well,
Take care and Happy Spring!!!

Beautiful hanky! I do like the pink bike, too. Even REALER men ride pink bikes. (You know, they say real men wear pink. I know realer isn't a word.)
I'm so jealous of you crafty moms! I doubt I could even cut the fabric to make a hanky. They are beautiful though!
Also, I'm starting a giveaway tomorrow at my blog for some-what crafy moms (since I am not one). . . you might want to check it out tomorrow!

What a lovely idea for a swap. My Mother was taught to embroider hankies at school and made a sachet to keep them in- also good for love letters aparently. :-) You's is so sweet with the little heart.
Awww even the dolls are full of Spring like the birds and plan to have babies of their own. :-)
