That way it would fit into my pretty pouch that I got awhile back from Deb as a thank you for the Pay it Forward gift I had sent her. I like to have several pouches ready with needles and scissors so I can always snatch one up when I want to take a sewing project with me.
Some lovely new fabrics arrived in the mail the other day. The red, brown and green are Japanese Lecien prints and the taupe fabrics are Kaufman Gentle Flowers prints. I bought these at The Fabric Shack.
At the moment I have a zillion things going on at once. I am making more dolls with Tula Pink's Flutterby. I am also making some mother and baby dolls with some of these woven Japanese cottons. I adore working with the subtle colors and wonderful nubby textures.
Torild is the newest sleepy little one in my shop. I made her from Moda Posh fabrics which I like so much!
i thought you said: a little sewing:)
hahhaha
love your sewing... little and big!

oooo! I LOVE the Posh line. I used it to make a quilt for our little girl's bed - And I made a cute stuffed dog out of the leftovers. I can't get enough of that fabric!

Lovely little needlecase. My local shop has the textured Japanese fabric in at the moment and they are so lovely. I just haven't thought of the right project ...yet! Not having a place to really sew- being perched on the coffee table doesn't count- is cramping my creativity. I'll be glad when this floor is finished and I can move in my new craft room.
