The vibrant colors of fall really bring me great joy.
And my little one finds them irresistible. Taking a walk with her now is a world of discovery as the seasons change. She is too small to remember things so clearly from last year so there is so much to look at and play with.
Trying to jump up to reach the rowan berries caught her fancy for awhile.
The ground was littered with them when she was through.
Never fear, there are large supplies for the next child. Too bad they taste so horribly! Many make Rowan jelly at this time of the year. You need buckets of sugar per jar and it still tastes bitter. (My mother loves it though so I have sometimes brought jars of it home for her.)
We met a little friend on our walk and see the bright bouquet of fall leaves he had collected.
I have made a collection of fall decorations, Torhild, Kristin Merethe, and Cecilie! I think autumn is a neglected season when it comes to home decoration. These are in my shop but I want to make more to pretty up our house and bring some of fall's glory into the house. The beautiful colors outdoors are inspiring me, plus I adore oakleaves. I wasn't sure I would be able to cut the felt so small but it worked nicely.
I made these fall coloured mittens for Sebastian. Happy to say that he doesn't need them quite yet, but will very soon it would seem! They might look familiar as I made him socks with the same colors.
Beautiful photos and dolls and colors!!!
I love fall colors, all the year!

I think these dolls are your best yet in those colours.
Beautiful Autumn photographs. I think you are a little ahead or the UK with those beautiful red leaves.

Yes, I think fall is much overlooked, we're too quick to rush in the other holidays. I have been searching all over for fabric with tiny acorns on it and have had no luck! You would think it would be a given this time of year. The picture with your daughter's red sleeve and red leaves is wonderful!
