Today I am going to moan a bit. I don't usually and I think I am entitled under the painful circumstances. Yesterday I had my first and hopefully only wisdom tooth removed. Apparently it is much less painful when the tooth has come in. Mine hadn't. It had barely surface, so I got it operated out and many stitches afterwards. The dentist told me that when he first started it took him 45 minutes to do the few stitches he had to do on me. I think he is now down to 5 or 6 minutes. He seemed pro to me. But today I am in pain. Owwwwww!
On a brighter note, look at what I received in the mail the other day!
I won these patterns!!! I am gaga over the retro feel of Audrey and Maude's images! And these little robot creatures are so cute.
I was saving my favorite pattern win for last! I think these puppies are adorable and what a great idea to have the pillow for them! Even the name Poppy is cute! I look forward to seeing what they will come up with next! Thank you so much for these wonderful patterns!
Hopefully my puffed up cheek will have gone down soon and my smile will be back to its non-lopsided self. And I am told that the pain will go away in a day or so and that will be a welcome change. Thank you for letting me moan a bit.
P.S. Have you seen Martha Stewart's blog? She is having a contest now and the winners will be featured on her blog! I am entering. Are you? Her post about this contest here.
Those puppies are so cute! Congratulations on your win. I'm lucky enough to have never had any problems with my wisdom teeth but I've heard how painful they can be so hopefully you'll be pain free very soon.

So sorry about your pain.:( My daughter had all four of her wisdom teeth cut out at the same time and lots of stiches! They seemed to hurt worse the second day. But it wasn't long before the pain was gone. She said the worst part was feeling the stitches in her mouth. She had to go back and have them taken out after a week. I love the little dog patterns you won the best. Be sure to post pictures when you make some!
Blessings,
Diane

Moan as much as you want! That's a tough surgery- I had it at 18 and still don't like remembering it (many many years later). I'm glad you got some cool mail, hope it helps take your mind off your mouth and that you heal up quick!

Hope you are being spoilt by your family while recovering from your surgery. I remember eating jots of jelly and ice cream when i had my wisdom teeth out. What fun you will have experimenting with your new patterns.

You have every right to moan! I had my wisdom teeth taken out the same way you did, and for a week I looked like someone had beaten me and I guess that was the feeling too - so you get all my sympathies. I hope for you a quick recovery!
