I was recently presented with this award, Arte y Pico, by the very sweet Anja. Thank you so much Anja for bestowing this on me! Anja's writes that the award is for creativity, originality, and overall contribution to the blogging community. Wow, this is really nice to hear that you think that about my blog.
Now for the extremely difficult part, to select just 5 bloggers to give the award to. I can't, I really couldn't pick! There are SO many I love! I know, I have to follow the rules... Hemming and hawing... Here are 5 really outstanding and incredibly inspiring bloggers:
1. Alex of Moonstitches
2. Marisa of Quilt Otaku
3.Mimi of Doll
4. Erin of House on hill road
5. Elvis of Lovely textiles
Here are the rules for the Fabulous Five I have selected:
1) Choose 5 blogs that you consider deserving of this award based
on creativity, design, interesting material, and overall contribution
to the blogger community, regardless of the language.
2) Post the name of the author and a link to his or her blog by so everyone can view it.
3) Each award-winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her or him the award.
4) The award-winner and the presenter should post the link of the “Arte y pico“blog , so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5) Please post these rules.
I am late (as usual) in finishing my Take it Further contribution for last month. This month's palete was ideal for me! I suppose the more somber colors are a nice change of pace from the brights I use so much (and love) on my dolls.
Here is mine still in progress for June:
And a bit more of it:
I was greatly inspired by Yoko Saito. I am a complete beginner at this though but it is great fun!
Congratulations with the award. I've tagged you... have a look at my blog.
