I have been keeping busy this week with a custom order and an order for Mosey Handmade. These are the dolls I have sent off to Jes. It is really nice to think I will have some of my dolls in a shop!
For the order I needed to make some tags. I used some of the oval cutouts I have leftover from doll faces. Some I left as is and the others I cut into hearts. I sewed a simple line down the center of the heart and ovals.
I haven't forgotten the long promised give away! One of my problems is that I am not very good about making decisions - what to give away? I want to treat you to something special as your kind, funny, thoughtful, helpful, sympathetic and just plain wonderful comments add such a ray of sunshine to my day! So I thought and thought about what to give and then it hit me: my dolls! I will draw two names, I will send Trude to one and Anne Gry to the other.
So here is Trude, bright and cheery in the foreground.
Shh, Anne Gry is sleeping. She is the other give away doll! Her very sweet trim was a gift from Melissa.
I will include a few gift tags and some other surprises too!
To be one of the two lucky winners of my give away all you need to do is make a comment to this post by Wednesday, June 18th.
I just had to show you Trine's backside (she is in my shop). I thought that the polka dotted red and white fabric would be so cute as a mushroom so Trine now has one!
Oh know me... always the first in line for a cute giveaway... :o) Never actually won anything but never mind. It's fun playing.
Your dolls are so special! I hope you are not getting bored hearing this, but it is true. I love them.
And I have not say it before, but buttons from previous post are great. I really like the way you took pictures of them. Each colour at the time.
Hugs from cold England.
xxx Anja

I was going to comment about how cute your tags are, and then I scrolled down and saw Trine's backside! Now THAT's cute!! :-)

I've always loved seeing your site, and have been checking in periodically to see updates on your beautiful dolls, baby slings, and so many other crafts.
knowing you're in norway makes it a bit more fun -- i have family in sweden and have always wanted to go visit them -- your updates on the weather conditions and scenery make me feel a bit closer to them!
p.s. i'm with Kristin above -- the mushroom on Trine's backside is adorable :-)

Love the dolls. I never would have thought of putting a mushroom on one but you are so right about the polka dot material needing to be a mushroon. I remember those from the 70s. Wonderful work.

Phewwww.... I made it... just in time. Haven't been to your blog the last few days because I've been a short trip to Switzerland.
Anyway... your gift tags are just the cuuutest! I absolutely adore them!!

Thank you for your kind blog comment, Emily - you are so lovely.
Don't your girls look so perfect lined up in such a satisfyingly tonal way! I love them and would so love to be entered into your giveaway.
I love the fabrics you've used - I used some Tilda a couple of months ago to create some matryoshka applique on some doorstops that I hope to sell in my shop when my husband finishes designing it (it is taking a very long time!) and they seem the perfect fabrics for matryoshka - it suits their character somehow.
Your swing tags are gorgeous and such a good use of left over fabric. x
