Spring is in full march everywhere you look. On the way to do a bit of grocery shopping yesterday morning I took a few pictures of the anemones covering the ground in the woods.
Our area seems to mainly have the white variety but there are also some exquisite blue/pink types as well.
I find these flowers quite enchanting.
The weather is fairly enchanting as well, with warm, long, sun-filled days. Lilly has been making cakes in the sandbox.
Yes, and she takes after her big brother in her love of going barefooted! She adores wearing the pants from Natasha that I mentioned earlier.
After a two hour nap (I slept too - I have a lot of sleep to catch up on!) Lilly and I were ready for more fun outside and now Sebastian was home from school to join us. The excitement on this afternoon was finding ladybugs. It was a full day for me because Anne Katrine and I went out last night to the quilting meeting! Here is a preview: drop by tomorrow for more.
Oh Gorgeous, Gorgeous post! Wow, those flowers are delightful!
It's nice to see some bare feet, too!
And that quilt has some of my favorite colors---delicious.

Hvitveis (didn't know it was called anemone in english... I've learned something new today...) is one of my favourite flowers. It's so pretty when it covers the ground in the woods.
I think there must be something about children and bare feet, 'cos my two loves to go bare feet as well. I really like Lilly's top in the photo. so sweet!

We have a folk name for those flowers - Mary's little shirts.
waw, how many degrees do you have? I'm mean, I'm so afraid that my girls would catch cold I let them barefoot when it's at least 25 and clear sky. And not in the beggining of spring, because the ground is still too cold.
OK... am I crazy?
Reading my comment again ... don't answer that :o)
