In my last post you saw the backside of the little doll's quilt I am for Lilly. Here is the front.
The quilt is completed now for her birthday tomorrow! She turns 3 but the party with her friends is going to be this weekend.
You probably won't be surprised that I have added more dolls to my shop. Please meet Josefine.
I have been mixing colors for the faces. The red straight from the jar was too bright for the lips, so I mixed the tiniest bit of red with a very small amount of brown and a good portion of peach and the lips turned out nice and subtle as I had hoped for!

I adore the fabrics that these 4 dolls shown above are made of Moda's A Morris Garden by Barbara Brackman which I purchased via the internet shop, Sweet Peas and Angels. I really liked this shop as they sent everything so prettily bundled up in little ribbons. You can also order as little as 1/4 of a yard which I haven't found too often in other internet venues.
Blomsten (flower in Norwegian) is already spoken for.
Guri is made of the same fabrics and available! Now that these girls are finished I am diving into my stash for some greens to make for an order for Moseyhandmade's new brick and mortar shop opening in June!

Emily, your colors are great. Lilly is going to really love the quilt. Nothing like having something to snuggle with that mom has made just for you!
The new color combo's on the dolls are nice too. Good job!
Hope that the family is feeling better now.
We finally got Spring... ahem, Rain, Rain, go away! We got nothing but down pours most of the weekend! It was nice late in the afternoon yesterday... guess maybe I will be able to finally plant my vegetable garden. Take care. We have birthdays coming up too. My DH and my youngest daughter.
xx Jean

Gosh, I may not show my daughter this girly quilt you made for Lilly. Certainly she would know in an instant that the blue and grey quilt I made for her doll wasn't really done properly...
