A while back I hearted this shop. Maybe I should explain what hearting a shop means. If you like an Etsy shop and would like to check back again later you can click on add seller to favorites under the page tools. I did that on Monda's shop.
She wrote me to ask for my address saying that she was sending a gift to me because I was the 100th person to give her a heart! I got this lovely package in the mail!
Inside was this beautiful brooch with hand stiching.
And these were the adorable cards she had enclosed. Monda doesn't just do pretty, she also does MONSTERS! Thank you Monda for the sweet handmade gift!
I spent most of the day again today lazing around with my very weak, sleepy but recovering daughter. She has wanted me by her side at all times. I got a bit of stitching done while my dear one was sleeping.
I also finally sent off the 4 give away packages. I am sorry that I was so slow to mail them off! I so wanted to include a tiny handmade gift along with the fabrics and of course those had to be made!
You have awesome gift mojo!!

Hi Emily, Poor little Lille, she looks so sad. I do hope she is feeling better soon. I am full of sympathy as all of my family has had it too. I cant remember if I told you about both my daughters being pregnant, well the eldest gave birth to a little boy, Charlie, on Monday. They are both doing well. The youngest is due in 8 weeks. I really must get some knitting done !
You certainly got some super things at the flea market, I'm sure you will enjoy them.

Hi Emily,
I can sympathize with Lily, as I have had some nasty high fever thing myself lately. I wish I could have my mom nearby at all times! It has been a week now, and I am just beginning to do some normal things again.
As always, your posts are so wonderful to read and look at. And I can understand the part about the post office...sometimes it seems like a big accomplishment to make it there.
See you this month!

Hi Emily
I'm so glad my gift arrived and that you like it. One of the things I love (heart) about etsyers and bloggers is that they are all so friendly. I was also contacted recently to say that I was someone's 100th heart and that they wanted to send me something too. so nice.
I was also drooling over your vintage fabric flea market finds - lovely lovely lovely!
