It is Saturday night in Norway and I am having a rocking time: sewing and feverishly trying to make what I have planned for my shop! What better way to spend the evening? Ok, I am not feverish, but just pleasantly warm from my joy and eagerness at what I am making!
If I don't count the kids upstairs asleep I have the house all to myself, as Per Øystein (don't even try to pronounce it if you aren't Scandinavian) is at a friend's house for "game night" with the guys. I think they are going to play trivial persuit or something like that.
I wish to show you a new knitting book and many other things but the camera seems to be missing at the moment. Instead, here is a photo from last spring of Lilly's sweater hand-knit by me from a Debbie Bliss pattern.
I loved the sweater before I even had Lilly and when she was born I knew I had to make it for her. It sure was a pain of a project! There were so many places to carry the yarn, but I am so pleased with how it turned out.
Just one day left to join in on my Give Away!
Hope your "fever" is better today! Have a nice Sunday :-)

Absolutely beautiful sweater! I had a couple of Debbie Bliss books from library, but I couldn't gather enough of courage for starting a knitting project in English. That sounds a nice kind of a fever what you are having.

Lilly's sweater is beautiful, but her smille is amazing. She looks such a happy baby.
Good luck with your shop!

That's a beautiful sweater - but it doesn't hold a candle to your daughter's smile!

What a lovely sweater, I can understand how you wanted to make it before you even had Lilly!
I know all about pronouncing trouble with scandinavian names. Not so much my name, but my hubbys. He is called Per as well... and noone seems to be able to say it even if we tell them it's pronounced just like the fruit... It always sounds like Purr or Pier or they say Pierce. One man we know even called him Pez... every time we met... for five years... It doesn't really help that his middle name is Roar either...!!! My dads name is Øystein... and I'm not even going to start talking about what trouble that makes every time he comes to visit...
I'm eagerly waiting to see your shop... it's the 4th... ;)
