Playing house is one of my wee girl's favorite games. Lilly got so cozy here with her babies lying down on their blankets, a blanket over her own lap (a kitchen dishtowel), and with the Pat the Bunny book. My own mother made the beautiful waldorf style doll for Lilly as well as the blanket the babies are resting on. We both teared up mom presented the oh, so soft doll to Lilly.
When she plays with her dolls it warms my heart so. I rejoice in watching the sweet way she mothers her babies hoping that one day she will be nurturing babies of her own.
What a beautiful waldorf doll. Yeah... isn't it sweet to watch them play with their dolls. My oldest, Maja was never into dolls until she discovered Polly Pockets a year ago, but that's not quite the same. My youngest, Susie, loves her doll already, so hopefully she'll be a "doll- player"...

Such sweet little feet! My oldest is all books and no dolls but my second and third girls love them. I can often hear funny little conversations they are having creating their own special magical world!

Beautiful photos! That sweet little one is only modeling the love she gets from her mommy... What a lovely doll; simple, natural and oh, so soft. Those are the best kind in my opinion. Have a great day!

Beautiful baby AND doll! I'm so glad I saved my dolls my grammy and mom made me (especially the doll I trashed in the woods and mom & dad remade for my birthday after they found her)... I love to think of my kids playing with them someday too (although I may need to remake a couple of them- I was a huge fan of putting Vicks vaporub on my dolls when they were sick).
