I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the award! Thank you Merruli for giving it to me!
Yesterday I popped into the most incredible florist in Oslo: Purpur, and the shots I took will serve as a backdrop for this post.
I will now reveal the required 7 random things about myself:
1. I love to watch romantic movies or comedies. My dear husband is so understanding of my not wanting to watch scary or gory movies.
2. We don't own a television although we have a movie projector mounted on our ceiling in our living room and a big screen that pulls down when we want to watch a movie.
3. I delight in the aroma of fresh coffe but haven't aquired the taste for it.
4. I am 5 years older than my husband.
5. I am highly curious! My husband teases me that I always poke and shake my presents before it is time to open them.
6. I have lived in Norway for 16 years.
7. I used to be a gymnast in high school but I now get dizzy just doing a summersault.
The huge challenge of the amazing blogger award is the impossible task of selecting others to give the award to. I want to give it to everyone on my list of favorites! There are just so many wonderfully creative and inspring bloggers whom I admire, like and have become friends with.
I would like to extend the award to the following talented ladies:
I have other exciting news! Today I have an appointment to look at fabrics! The woman who is selling them is a designer who has purchased an entire going-out-of business fabric store. She is apparently willing to sell them by the meter at a ridiculously low price. I am dreaming of what glorious fabrics there might be!
I can't wait to see those fabrics!!! I'm so jealous - wish I could be there too :)
That florists looks so beautiful. There's just something about a good european florist isn't there.

Oh wow, that florist is a dream shop. In senior high (gymnasium) I planned to become a florist, but my teachers sort of pushed me to the more academic career plans so I still have a special place for florist shops in my heart.
Me too, I want to see the fabrics you chose to buy!

All I can think about, besides the beautiful flowers... is that you have to "have" an appointment to see the fabric! Please do take pictures of any and all that you may purchase from this gal! What a great way to start the new year.... flowers and fabric! Did you know, that if you are overwhelmed with too many scents... that to clear your scent palate.... you can take a whiff of coffee grounds? I don't drink coffee either. But, it sure does smell wonderful! Congrats on your award! You do a great job!
