After weeks of what seemed like endless snow, rain and a great deal of grey the sun was out for 2 days in a row! Lilly is jumping for the pure joy of it!
My husband and Sebastian washed the windows!
I was doing the most important job: taking photos for my blog.
Besides documenting the cleaning I got some help finding things to fotograph, like this pretty leaf Sebastian is holding.
My primrose is getting ready to bloom.
And this one is even closer to springing into bloom.
A lovely ending to the sunny day, mother-of-pearl clouds.
Now the children are asleep and I should be too. I slept in so late today though that I am not even tired. So I will show yet another picture. I would like to thank Eileen for the surprise gift in the mail! She sent me a stack of pretty greeting cards, something that I always need. She made them herself. This one might be my favorite of among the cards she sent me. Each one was lovely and unique.
I love it: getting something handmade in the mail entirely out-of-the blue. That really made me happy. Eileen told me that she wanted to thank me for the kimono panels that she won in the give away I held in November. Such niceness on Eileen's part makes me want to do nice things too. I think I will give something away soon.
The sun is out here too and I was jumping for joy this morning myself :)

Breathtaking sunset. I have to say I've never seen one quite like that. Nice to see the sun shining in Norway. Soak it in while it lasts.

You always have such cute and lovely pictures on your site. We have had snow for instead of sunshine... although we did have a very pretty sunset on Saturday. Enjoy the moments while you can, I think people forget to enjoy all the beauties around them. Nice that you documented them! Enjoy your week. Jean

I'm with LIlly! Yay for sun! We've had snow on the ground here since before Christmas! It's awfully cold here in CT, much colder than in NJ!! I am enjoying looking at your blog! Do tell me how you have found the time to do some much crafts! I'm so envious! You inspire me! I still have the beautiful sweater you made for christopher and all kids have worn. I should take a picture! XOXOXO
