Just completed a patchwork scarf in the same fabrics as the quilt I made. It is fun to have lots of squares already cut and waiting to be put together.
The squares are all cotton, some new and others vintage, like the dotted rosebud that I got from a vintage pillowcase. The pink dots on brown in the foreground is ribbon purchased from a fiberartist who was destashing. Backing the scarf is vintage cotton velour.
Great fabric in your patchwork quilt. Good luck on the applique. I still haven't gotten over the learning curve on that, but I'd love to learn how to do it so my stitches don't look like they've been sewn with my feet-lol.
