Here are the green trims I found.
Look at the pile of rick rack! Someone really loved blue rick rack.
I love these deep blues. I only got one of the two long dark velvet ribbons in the photo!
This really was a treasure trove of a box that I found! Take a look at the beautiful red!
These are true vintage. The trims are all on cards of cardboard or wood. The silver trim in the forground is surprisingly heavy. And there are beautiful thick coppery metalic trims, cords and threads. I have no idea what I will be making with these treasures but in the meanwhile I enjoy looking at them!
I also find a jar filled with buttons! These are just a few of the many buttons made of shells, a large number of which are apparently quite old mother of pearl.
Flea market season is nearing a close for the fall. Hopefully then I will have more time to make things since I won't be spending all my free-time shopping!
