Just finished! Whew! What a laugh. Why do they call it the 5 hour baby sweater when it took me about 20 and I am making it for the third time?
I made it for my little one who is 2 and a half but is size-wise about 1 and a half so used thicker yarn and needles than the pattern called for. I think this pattern is great despite my gripes about the time it took to knit it up. Another minor change I made in the pattern was to decrease slighlty on the sleeves near the cuffs. I used Debbie Bliss cashmerino superchunky yarn for this that I got at a flea market. The buttons are also thrifted so this is a sweater made with a clean conscience!

I love this little sweater! I have to learn how to knit!

I'm cracking up at your 20 hour comment! How true! The end product was outstanding though! Beautiful work! Your pictures (ALL of them) could be in magazines!
