Because I am so very grateful for all the support and inspiration having a blog has given me I would like to give something back. I have been pondering this give away for awhile and this is going to be a big surprise!
No, it isn't a doll from my shop!
It isn't anything do-it-yourself... although I am having a real love affair with threads at the moment.
This time my giveaway is something incredibly lovely to wrap up in: one nuno felt shawl worth not less than 64$ by felt designer Vilte Kazlauskaite from Lithuania. I am dying to own one of these floaty peices of wearable art myself. Her use of color, texture and pattern on each piece are so unique that the difficulty would be in selecting just one.
Vilte's shop at Etsy is called Felt Magic - pieces of wool, silk, flax and other natural materials are beautifully transformed into felt.
She uses only natural materials and works in a way that is called ethical and eco fashion and design. All her items are unique, one of a kind and completely handmade.

OK, I checked out the shop and my first impression was "sensuous!" The photography does a great job not only of showing off Vilte's beautiful colors and designs, but it is very evocative of the airy caress of silk and Nuno felt. I think she has a gorgeous product and shows it off well in the shop. I wish Vilte much success in her "Felt Magic" venture. (I have to admit though that I was a bit disappointed that my favorite scarf, the last one on your post, with the bobbles, seems to have been sold or removed -- I really liked it!)

I have been to the shop and I must say, I have never seen anything like this before. I love the colour combinations and the look of those contarasting textures... no wonder there is a pic of some one wearing nothing but the shawl!

Wow, just looked at her shop. Very original work and the photographs are really fantastic. I would have to say she makes very unique and luxurious handmade goods. My favorite is definitely the Nuno felt shawl - Wild Plum Tree OOAK but I think they're all incredible.

Very interesting technique - my favourite is the petals one. Shop looks great - only comment there would be maybe to change the banner to an image with a bit more colour as so many of the scarves are really colourful ?

I am in love with all of the shawls, but the Air ooak nuno felted shawl is my favorite.
