Happy Halloween and de-stashing!

Happy Halloween! Sebastian has learned a new skill which is proving to be ever so helpful in de-stashing my yarn supplies! I am so happy that his second grade teacher has taught them how to finger crochet! He was thrilled to show me and apparently has a competition with a buddy who can make the most chains!

 

So I have gathered up a basket of yarn together for him to use. He likes to make them really thick with 2 or more strands of thick yarn. Speed is of the essence you see! That will also use up my stash lickity split! Mainly I am happy about that as I have too many cupboards stuffed with yarn I don't know what to do with.

Em, my 3 eldest learned how to finger crochet last year and loved it! I should encourage them more! Thank you for the reminder and inspiration!!
